This private residence, nestled in the picturesque village of Goring-on-Thames near Reading, is a striking new-build family home that combines luxury, colour, and functionality. Designed as a vibrant yet practical family environment, the interiors were carefully curated to meet the needs of each occupant while delivering a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.
Bespoke Interiors for Every Room
Every bedroom and ensuite bathroom was individually designed with bespoke finishes, palettes, and materials to suit the intended occupant. Careful attention to personalisation ensures that each space feels unique while maintaining harmony with the overall design scheme.
The new kitchen, designed and installed by Smallbone, serves as the heart of the home. High-quality materials, tailored cabinetry, and a considered layout create a functional, elegant space for both family life and entertaining.
Lighting & AV Integration
A key element of the project was the seamless integration of lighting with the AV and home control system. We designed layered lighting throughout, using coffered ceilings to break up large expanses and introduce architectural interest. This approach allows each area to be individually controlled, providing flexible ambiance while enhancing the sense of scale and proportion in the home.

Given the significant investment in the property, we worked closely with the clients to explore opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising design integrity. Through thoughtful material selection, clever detailing, and value-led solutions, we ensured the project remained luxurious, practical, and financially considered.
